The netCCM technology is based on the association of component technology and modern modelling tools. In doing so advantages of both basic approaches are combined in a way so that a whole range of synergy effects is brought to bear:
The products of the netCCM GmbH realize a Software Asset Management Platform. For it, through consequent enhancement of existing component technologies with the netCCM technology, any fragment of code can be encapsulated. A dependency on a specific component platform is not created by the encapsulation. However these components provide all information about themselves that are necessary to use them within a software system as meta data.
The UML conforming netCCM modelling tools assemble these components to form an application. A single component can at the same time be used in any number of models so that reusability is nothing but the normal case. The resulting advantages for example in testing are obvious.
From such a model of assembled components the generation of an executable application is fully automatic. Here, the model itself serves as a documentation of the system design whose timeliness is provided by the automation at all times.
There are generators for a number of target platform available that all use the same components and models. Compared to manual development for a specific target platform these generators create no runtime-overhead.

You asked for it, and here it is. We have now finished a new version of our main product netCCM Studio. Alongside a number of small improvements the most prominent new feature is surely the new support for C in addition to the traditionally supported languages Java, PHP, C#, Delphi and C++.
